Frequently Asked Questions

POWERNET America provides strategic business advisory services to small and middle market businesses, start-ups and non-profits. We engage business owners and senior executives in an intensive, collaborative process to identify and resolve any issues and challenges that may be preventing your company from achieving its fullest potential.
The bottom line: we work with business owners and senior executives clients to teach them how to make the best decisions for their company and avoid the cost of errors. Our clients want to fix problems in their company and build their business. We focus in the areas of Executive Management Consulting, Cyber Security Consulting, Marketing Consulting and Information Technology Consulting. To help them achieve this, we work closely with the company's leaders to reach their own goals, both business and personal.

POWERNET has a very well defined methodology that covers over 100 areas of cyber security for businesses. These areas are based on industry standards and governance requirements that are applicable to your market. We use both quantifiable and qualified information to find the gaps in your current posture. We use a combination of scanning tools, workshops and our own modeling to find and address gaps that will enable your business to address risks. Using this model we identify all known risks, and give you recommendations on how to address them. You then make business decisions on where you want to take your strategy, with our help. The Gap analysis will be used to create a comprehensive security program customized to your business.

Information security is only one part of an overall security program. It is an important part but not the only thing you should be considering. You have other risks and liabilities including preventing mistakes, misuse by insider threats, malicious attacks that can compromise your systems just to use them to attack a partner, customer or even other employees.

Your liability goes far beyond just the data. There are issues to protect your financial systems, employee confidential information, intellectual property and other areas of due diligence including government required compliance and procedures. Another major concern is disaster recovery and business continuance that can prepare you if a major event happens.

Can your company survive if your computers are down for a week? A month? What if your building is damaged beyond repair? IF you had to tell your customers you were hacked, how many would you loose? These areas are part of the business enablement focus that POWERNET provides.

A lack of cyber security protections can affect your organization’s bottom line. A major security breach can cost up to 5 million dollars. In today’s economy, businesses have a high reliance on valuable corporate data and the information systems that process that data. Safeguarding these information systems and data is critical for organizational success, from small businesses to large corporations, to run effectively and achieve their goals. According to the Ponemon Institute, 43% of US corporations have fallen victim to a security breach. Given the steady increase of security breaches over the past few years, it is not a question of “if” but “when” a business will be hacked.;

Several organizations, from US federal and state entities to international consortiums, have enacted regulatory compliance guidance (e.g. PCI DSS v3.1) and law (e.g. HIPAA, HITECH, California Privacy Act SB1386, Senate Bill 541 SB541). Recently, the Federal Trade Commission has confirmed its authority to sue corporations that have allowed the breach of consumer data under 15 U.S.C. Sec.45.

A breach could result in the loss of proprietary corporate data or sensitive customer information. The initial breach or following incident response could cause a major impact to the information systems, which process that data and information. Impacts from a single breach could result in:

  • Disruption of business capabilities leading to a significant loss of revenue
  • Fines and penalties to federal and state regulatory bodies
  • Loss of customer and business partner confidence

At POWERNET we get this question all the time. Cyber security is the collection of technologies, processes, and practices that protect networked computer systems from unauthorized use or harm. Broadly speaking, cyber security topics can be subdivided into two complementary areas:

  1. Cyber Attacks: Which are essentially offensive and emphasize network penetration techniques.
  2. Cyber Defenses: which are essentially protective and emphasize counter-measures intended to eliminate or mitigate cyber attacks.

Cyber attacks can take aim at the enterprise, government, military, and other infrastructural assets of a nation or its citizens, where these assets can include physical infrastructure (e.g., power grids, nuclear reactors) as well as computational infrastructure (e.g., computers, networks). Cyber attacks can be classified by their participating actors (states vs. non-states) and their attack mechanisms (e.g., direct attack, malware, exploits). See the Cyber Attack Classifications and Cyber Attack Mechanism Taxonomy sections on the Cyber Threats page for more information. Correspondingly, cyber defenses must protect the enterprise, government, military, and other infrastructural assets of a nation or its citizens. As is the case with cyber attacks, cyber defenses can be classified by their participating actors (states vs. non-states) and their attack mechanisms (e.g., direct attack, malware, exploits).

POWERNET has many industry certifications and continues to update these certifications when required.  Some of the certifications our consultants hold are:

  • MCSE – Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
  • MCITP – Microsoft Certified IT Professional
  • MCP – Microsoft Certified Professional
  • MCSA – Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator
  • MCTS – Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist
  • CCNP – Cisco Certified Network Professional
  • CCNA – Cisco Certified Network Associate
  • CCA – Citrix Certified Administrator
  • VCP – VMware Certified Professional
  • CISSP – Certified Information Systems Security Professional
  • NET+ – CompTIA Network+
  • A+ – CompTIA A+

At POWERNET we get this question all the time. The quick answer is COST. With an IT consultant, you only pay for services when you need them, whereas with a full-time employee you pay for salary, 401(k), sick time, benefits, etc., and even when that individual isn’t doing anything, you are still paying for their time. The other benefit of an IT consultant is experience. Most full-time in-house employees work mostly on one network or possibly two networks in their lifetime, doing the same things every day. IT consultants have hundreds of networks they support daily and will have more experience with issues that may occur as well as experience choosing the right solutions for many kinds and sizes of businesses.

Some of the proven benefits associated with POWERNETs IT Services include:

  • Reduce operating costs, up to 30%
  • Reduce HR responsibilities and operational headaches
  • Improve network performance and access
  • Improve employee satisfaction with IT support
  • Ensure continuity in IT support personnel and structure
  • Receive piece of mind in knowing that true experts are managing your IT environment

In short, an MITS company takes responsibility for your IT services for a fixed fee.

POWERNET offers three options for maintaining and refreshing your site content. We don't care which option you choose, but we strongly encourage you to update your site regularly.

  • The Pay as You Go Plan: Call us when you need to add to or make a change to your content. We'll complete your request within 48 hours, and bill you at our standard hourly rate. Urgent requests can generally be completed within a few hours for an additional charge. There is a 2 hour minimum, so give us enough to fill the 2 hours.
  • Ongoing Maintenance Plan: Sign up for one of our ongoing maintenance plans, and you'll receive a discount on our standard rates.
  • Content Management System: Use Drupal or WordPress from POWERNET and make all the changes you want. Perfect if your site requires frequent updates.

There are ten steps in our development process

  1. Discovery – If the project is a rebuild, we review your current content and make further recommendations for improvements. If it’s a new site, we start by discussing the subjects and functionality you envisage for your site and develop an outline for you.
  2. Setup – We will setup the server if you ordered one from us, and if you have your own, we will modify it to get ready for development. Database will also be setup in this stage.
  3. Theme & Content Development – You compile all the content for the website, including all text and images.
  4. Preliminary Design – We create a home page concept including colors, fonts, image style and layout.
  5. Organization – When we have received all content in its final version, we review it to determine the best way to organize the information. The structure of the site is based on this organizational scheme and must be approved by you.
  6. Design Revision – After reviewing the initial design, you have the opportunity to request changes.
  7. Implementation – Once we’ve received your approval on the design, we move on to implementation. This is where the approved design becomes concrete and where we add site-specific features.
  8. Page Development – When we have all the content that will be included on the site and we will build the rest of the pages & content.
  9. Testing – We run through a final set of tests to be sure that everything is functional. You have an opportunity at this time to test the site as well.
  10. Launch – Once we have your final approval, we launch the site. The marks the end of the project.

FIRST TIME CLIENTS: The project starts with a 50% deposit. After design sign off and before we move into programming, we collect 25%. Once we have completed and fulfilled our scope, the final 25% is collected and your website is then scheduled for launch.

RETURN CLIENTS: The project starts with a 50% deposit. After design sign off and before we move into programming, we collect 25%. Once we sign off the final, 50% is collected and your website is then scheduled for launch.

It depends on the size of your website. Smaller websites which don't require much programming typically take 30-45 days. Larger websites requiring a good amount of programming and database work can take anywhere from 90 days on up, depending on how large it is. Actual time to develop a website will vary from project to project and depends on client approval times.

From our years of web development experience, POWERNETs website process has been perfected. Every website built by POWERNET is overseen by one of our project managers from start to finish. All of our websites regardless of size go through the same 3 phases: Discovery, Design and Building. Larger websites built by POWERNET go through the above 3 phases as well as an additional phase for Development.

Discovery & Planning Phase

The first phase of our website process is the Discovery or Planning Phase. During this phase, our project managers sit down with clients to ask as many questions as necessary so that we can fully understand the company and what the project will entail. We will work with the client to determine what pages and functionality are needed for the new website and will make recommendations based on research into their industry and their competitors.

Typically clients are responsible for providing us with their website content. We recommend that once the website pages are determined the client should begin writing their website content. Website content writing may seem like a simple task but it can be very daunting and time consuming, so the sooner you start writing the more time you will have to finish your content. The planning phase is the single most important phase of a website. If a website is not planned properly it is destined to fail and could potentially cost the client more money. The Planning Phase of a website typically takes 1 to 2 weeks to complete which is dependent on the size of a project. Larger projects that involve a lot of database interaction are likely to require a lot more time to plan than the smaller sites.

Theme Design Phase

After all the details of a website are planned out our website designers step in to begin the theme design phase. Before actually coming up with design concepts our website designers and project managers will work with the client to discuss if they have any design concepts, ideas or other things they want incorporated into their designs. Our website designers will come up with a plan for a user friendly navigation(s) based on the content discussed in the planning phase. Our website designers will work with the client’s concepts, navigation and incorporate the company’s logo to plan a website design. The website design phase typically takes about 2 weeks to complete but is dependent on the amount of time it takes to make any necessary revisions and how much time it takes for the client to approve.

Building Phase

Once a website theme design is finalized, the design is turned over to our website developers to begin the building phase. We have many development domain names that we use when building client’s websites so we can test the website without interrupting a client’s existing website. Our website developers build website layouts using external CSS and JavaScript. All of the websites developed by POWERNET are cross browser compatible so they will appear the same on computers using all browsers. The building phase typically takes 2-3 weeks to complete depending on the amount of pages needed, but that time can increase significantly depending on the client. Many times we are waiting to finish the inner pages because the client has not finished with the content writing, which can lead to delays in getting the website up and running.

Development Phase

When the website inner pages are all up and running, the website is turned over to our website developers to being the development phase. During the website development phase any pages that require database interaction, including an admin panel, are created. Since POWERNET builds every website custom the steps involved and the amount of time it takes to complete the development phase varies from project to project. The final review allows us to be certain that the entire website meets the proposal and the client’s needs. When the client is happy with the final product we then move all the website files over to the client’s domain name at which time the website goes live. The total time it takes to complete a website from start to finish varies from website to website but averages between 30 days for the simple websites and up to 90 days for a complex database driven website.

Yes we provide full hosting in a multiple facilities. POWERNET offers hosting on our dedicated servers. Server space is available for rent for as little as $10 per month! We also offer a 50% discount on the first year of hosting with the purchase of a new website. We recommend you host your website on our servers as they are optimized for the languages we use but we also appreciate that some customer already have hosting contracts in place with their current providers and if required we will deploy them to the third party provider. We have a number of dedicated web, email and DNS servers that has a redundant disaster recovery plan. All our servers are co-located in mission critical high security data centers on both the West and East coasts.

The short answer: Our prices depend on so many factors, it’s impossible to say in one sentence. Avoid any web developer who can answer this question without a long talk.

The long answer: To get a better idea of the cost of what you want to build, lets sit down and talk. We will collect your requirements, and then I can tell you what it will cost. We’ll ask you a few questions about the nature of the site, what sort of interactivity the site will have, your graphic design needs, etc. Then we’ll be able to give you a price. If you talk to a web developer who gives you an instant quote, run away! Imagine telling someone you want a car and having them immediately giving you a price for that car. Any fair and honest car salesperson would want to know the make, model and engine type of the car you’re looking to purchase, right? The same goes for building web sites. Depending on the features you want for your web site, the cost can be anywhere from a few hundred dollars to a few thousand.

Appearance and content are two crucial factors. The better the color scheme, design, and layout the more likely a potential will be interested in staying on your site and seeing what it has to offer. Higher quality content elevates the chance that people will contact you for products or services.

The optimization process is time consuming but effective.. You will see results and traffic coming to your website gradually. Updating content with useful information regularly is the best way to increase ranking on Google. This can be with blogs, adding new video content and putting in keywords on your pages that closely match what clients are looking for. On average it takes around 3-6 months to get a website on the first page. However, the time varies depending on factors such as business industry, keywords desired, competition and business goals.

  1. Focus on content creation. - Good content markets itself. When you put the effort into building and promoting great pieces of content, the natural result is more traffic to your website via shares and referrals.
  2. Add social sharing buttons to your website. - Don’t assume that your readers will take the initiative to share your content on their own. Instead, make it easy for your site to accrue more visitors from social networking sites by adding social sharing buttons to your company’s blog posts.
  3. Answer questions on social networking sites. - When you see people asking questions online, provide whatever helpful information you can. Doing so will earn you both website traffic and customers for life.
  4. Distribute press releases for actual achievements. - While you shouldn’t abuse press release distribution websites to promote insignificant accomplishments, take advantage of this traffic stream whenever you have something noteworthy to share.
  5. Use SEO responsibly. - Don’t over-optimize your website, but do make use of current SEO best practices (which put the emphasis on looking “natural”) to let the search engines know where they should list your site in the natural search results. High rankings will result in plenty of new visitors to your website.
  6. Invest in your website’s blog. - By publishing high-value posts consistently, you’ll build your relationship with your readers, resulting in visitors who check back frequently to view your latest posts.
  7. Share slide decks and other presentations. - Posting informative materials to sites like Slideshare and Scribd will help you to increase both brand awareness and website traffic through exposure to new markets and new potential customers.
  8. Build a killer email newsletter. - When readers find valuable email newsletters, they tend to share them with others. If your current email followup sequence is lackluster, making improvements here could result in significantly more referral traffic.
  9. Publish a helpful podcast. - Similarly, producing a regular, high-quality podcast will increase referred website visitors, while reaching new visitors through podcast directories.
  10. Deploy infographics. - Infographics get shared more often than most other types of content. This makes them ideal candidates for traffic generation campaigns that make use of content marketing.
  11. Run a YouTube channel. - YouTube is one of the web’s largest search engines, making it a great way to expose new audiences to your brand. As an added bonus, your videos may be listed in Google’s blended search results, leading to even more traffic!
  12. Ask visitors to share your site with others. - Simply asking your visitors to forward your articles to others or share them on their social networking profiles is a great way to quickly boost page views.
  13. Write guest posts for top industry sites. - Ask other websites in your industry if you can pen guest posts for their blogs. Having your content featured there isn’t just great for traffic – it’s a good way to build your perceived authority as well.
  14. Connect with influencers in your niche. - Having an authority figure in your industry share just one of your blog articles can result in a tremendous amount of new traffic, subscribers and buyers, so make relationship building a key part of your company’s marketing strategy.
  15. Pay attention to up-and-coming social networks. - Newer social networks like Tumblr and Pinterest are sprouting up all the time. Because there can be a significant “first adopter” advantage to the people that establish a presence on these sites early on, keep an eye out for these future opportunities.
  16. Eliminate website errors. - If the search engines aren’t able to index your website properly (which can occur due to a number of different errors), you may not be receiving all the search traffic you should be. Check your Google Webmaster Tools account for information on common problems.
  17. Add pillar content to your website. - Every website should have at least a few pieces of “pillar” content — in-depth, well-written content that will always be of interest to readers — to help drive traffic via person-to-person sharing.
  18. Over-deliver on your company’s products or services. - From a word-of-mouth traffic standpoint, over-delivering can’t be beat. When you go above and beyond in your industry, customers will recommend you to others – leading to more traffic and a higher marketing ROI.
  19. Interview experts within your industry. - People love hearing from experts, so if you can snag an interview and publish it on your site, you’re in for a big surge of traffic from the authority’s existing audience.
  20. Comment on other websites. - Leaving valuable comments on other websites’ blogs can be a great way to build traffic back to your own site. Just be sure to say more in your comment than, Great post! or Thanks for sharing!

There are a large number of potential ways to answer this question, so experienced SEOs will have to use their judgement about the answers given by others, but here are a few of the most obvious/sensible ones:

  1. Reduce the quantity of low quality, low value and/or low unique-content pages.
  2. Add and verify an XML Sitemap to send URL information to the engines.
  3. Produce RSS feeds of pages/sections that frequently update with new content and use ping services to alert engines of changes/additions.
  4. Reduce the click-depth required to reach pages on the site.
  5. Eliminate confusing navigation and architecture such as high quantities of pagination, large numbers of faceted navigation or multiple versions of categorization/organization hierarchies.
  6. Reduce or eliminate duplicate content (or leverage solutions such as rel=canonical tags).
  7. Earn more links (or tweets possibly) to pages that are being passed over for crawling/indexing.

It all starts with a conversation. We invite you to share with us your present business environment, marketing efforts, branding, and where you want to take your business. This candid discussion will yield high-value opportunities to work together toward immediate results. Most often, we find that a custom designed and developed website, logo, flyers, marketing & sales material is an excellent starting point, as it provides a collaboration point for on-going marketing initiatives, including: email newsletter outreach, brand elevation through thought leadership, and an engaging point of contact between you and your critical constituents.

A content management-based website establishes a flexible framework that allows your marketing team to easily and responsively make changes that keep the site fresh and relevant. It allows you to connect your communications programs, thought-leadership content, and social-marketing programs.

There’s a saying we use at POWERNET America: If you can’t measure it, you can’t manage it. As a resource for leading advertisers for over 15 years, our experience suggests that only a small percentage of agency media operations apply the right technologies, resources and processes in the right combination to help clients assess the real return of what is typically a client’s largest marketing investment — the media spend. POWERNET provides our clients with recommendations for improving their marketing strategies. We have developed a value assessment model that studies performance in six critical performance areas.

  1. Marketing and Media Research
  2. Branding Reach & Penetration
  3. Branding Design & Implementation
  4. Strategic Media Alignment
  5. Services/Products Price Evaluation
  6. Marketing Communications Synergy
  7. Social Marketing Strategies

There are any number of reasons you might hire marketing strategy consulting firms:

  • You need a plan that’s in line with your overall business goals. Many times, people will advertise without any clear strategy, which won’t optimize the return on your investment. At POWERNET, our marketing consulting gives you a tactical foundation on which to build your public relations and advertising.
  • If you’re running a small business, you may not have time to dedicate to marketing. It can be difficult to focus on marketing at all when you’re wearing so many other hats in your business, so POWERNET can step in and take the reins in this area.
  • Marketing consultants have a strong grasp on the trends, technology, and innovation needed to develop a successful strategy. POWERNET marketing consultants will introduce you to new software, new industry trends, or new ideas.
  • Perhaps you need to limit your plans. One of the biggest problems businesses face in marketing is their desire to do everything at one time while not doing any of it that well. POWERNET marketing consultants will show you how to narrow your efforts but maximize the impact. For example, maybe your strategy includes trying to use every social media channel. POWERNET consultants will come in and give you data and research that will show you how to use your social media marketing to its fullest on multiple platforms, which will save you time and money while also having more of an impact.
  • You might have a strategy in place, but it isn’t working. Marketing is a rapidly evolving landscape; businesses that find their current strategy just isn’t getting the job done may feel it’s time to change strategies. That’s a very good time to partner with POWERNET America Marketing Consulting Solutions.

Definitely – Small businesses are regularly targeted and vulnerable to the impacts of security breaches. According to the Ponemon institute, 55% of small businesses surveyed have had security breaches.***  The impact of a breach, as discussed in the previous section can result in lost revenue, fines, and damaged reputation.  Every organization, no matter the size, have cyber security requirements.  Defense Point Security is a cyber-focused company with a wide-range of capabilities from security engineering, security monitoring, vulnerability assessment, penetration testing and incident response.  Small businesses can benefit from a team of Subject Matters Experts, providing them services such as these, without the expense of hiring full time experts.

Traditionally cyber security has had two sides of the equation: increase security or increase usability. These opposing sides have been at odds in the past, so that if you increase security you lock down the ability to be productive. And if you decrease security and increase usability you may leave your business open to risks. POWERNET has found a way to enable you business at the same time you increase security and decrease your risks. We do this by taking the requirements from your business first, including employees, customers, partners and we incorporate methods and models that allow to apply security standards and objectives that increase their effectiveness. This is a unique approach that turns cyber security from a cost center to an enabler and revenue producer. We can show you how we do this for your business anytime.

We are forward-thinking, practically applying market foresight to produce immediate results and lasting, transformational advantage for our clients. We are not what you can expect from other  companies for a number of reasons, a few are listed below;

  1. We guarantee our results and tick off our objectives at the end
  2. We are a complete business management solution, so you get a holistic approach not a bandaid.
  3. We seek your feedback to make sure we are on track at the beginning throughout and the end
  4. We work to fit in with your company culture, values and direction

POWERNET will strive to minimize the project costs. A major part of the cost of any project is usually travel-related. As such, we will try to accomplish as much as possible via the use of teleconferencing and/or Web meetings. If the situation requires it, POWERNET consultants will travel to your location for an in-person meeting. Alternatively, and if you find it more productive, POWERNET can host these meetings at our office. POWERNET is based out of our corporate headquarters in Huntsville, AL.

We can assure you that our services and our deliverables will be complete and thorough. We cannot provide you with assurances that any analysis will yield results that coincide with your expectations.

POWERNET consultants brings objectivity to the process. As an "outsider", the consultant comes into the process free of organizational agenda or bias. As a result; access to information from the various constituents may be easier and more accurate.

Second, your consultant will provide a disciplined process and brings order to a complex project. The consultant is focused on the completion of your project. He has no other organizational responsibilities so the task gets completed in a timely fashion without other distractions.

The consultant has specialized knowledge of the subject matter and can keep current on new approaches or methods that may not have occurred to the client.

Your consultant will tap into the knowledge of the board, management, staff and volunteers to quickly learn the work of the organization, its strengths, weaknesses, processes and networks. The consultant becomes someone who can use their previous experience and the wisdom of the staff to perform key functions such as board support, staff supervision, budgeting and resource allocation, development, cyber security, community relations, and program development.

The benefits of a POWERNET consultant can range from being a interim CIO, cyber security director or a consultant providing marketing, security, management, managed IT solutions, web development or proposal writing. We can provide services such as strategic planning, search support, policy development/integration and organizational development.

At POWERNET, we will never tell you what you should do. All companies have different internal politics, business constraints, and other issues that affect which business decision is right for the client. We will provide options based upon their understanding of the situation and the project and will offer advantages and disadvantages to the solutions. This will allow you to make an appropriate decision based upon the business needs and challenges of the particular organization. Keep in mind, it is YOUR business, not ours, so you are the one that needs to make the final decision.

We work with a variety of organizations across a range of industries, from Fortune 500’s to startups. One thing our clients have in common is that they come to us looking for help to identify opportunities to develop business strategies that save money and grow their business at the same time.

Our consulting portfolio is that of a typical top-level management strategy consultancy. In other words, we are responsible for topics such as:

  • Governance, Risk & Compliance Management
  • Organizational Development
  • Business & IT Plan Development
  • Strategic Planning & Direction
  • Executive IT Management
  • Policy Development
  • Project Management
  • Contract/Proposal Development
  • Team Building/Recruitment
  • Process Integration
  • Project and Solution Business

We typically do a work plan and budget based on the time it might take for various levels of consultant to address your specific issues.

Each consultant has a different hourly-billing rate based on his or her education and experience. These rates are maintained at the average of professional rates among all consulting firms. Our strategy is to compete with average rates and above-average quality. It leads to long-term, mutually beneficial relationships.

POWERNET price list is based on a hourly rate, contract or retainer. This method allows the clients to purchase consulting services, and to manage how much is just right! We listen carefully to what potential clients require, what issues you have, gather information during our "site visit" and put together a unique proposal based on the needs you have expressed and what the business actually needs. In fact it is FREE for us to come out and provide you with an evaluation.

The work plan and hourly rates build to a budget. We discuss the budget with the client in terms of a range. Then, as work is done, we speak with the client regularly about what has been accrued against the budget and what results have been attained.

POWERNET consulting solutions works hard to offer highly competitive pricing structures. Because each client project has unique needs and scope, we do not have a set fee schedule. In general, we base client fees on the estimated total hours required to complete the project. These hours are then multiplied by standard daily billing rates for consultant and/or staff support. Travel expenses are billed in addition to consulting fees. We strive to keep our travel expenses to a minimum.

The process starts by contacting us so that you can discuss your needs with a business development specialist. After this initial discussion, the specialist will then assign you a consultant (or team of consultants) to further define the scope. The assigned consultant will then follow up with you to get any additional technical details he/she may need in order to understand the project and estimate the effort required. Once we have a good understanding of the project and your needs, POWERNET will provide you with a formal proposal detailing estimated time and costs, project scope and a preliminary schedule. Once you have reviewed and accepted our proposal, we can begin work on your project.

Whether acting as an advisor to senior management or owner, or taking a more active role as Chief Information Officer (CIO), we move quickly to resolve a crisis and stabilize the company. After forming the turnaround team, we immediately determine the cause of the problem, implement procedures to regain control of cash and stabilize operations. We are in constant communication with management, employees and all stakeholders as the company begins to recover. Once the company has stabilized, we continue to monitor operations to ensure continued viability through operational and financial reviews and restructuring.

When we staff the team, we first look for compatibility when assigning a consultant. You must feel comfortable with us. We next review experience and common assignments. Most assignments will have a lead consultant and a backup. In the rare instance when a lead consultant must leave an assignment, the backup is fully informed of all case details and can quickly step in without lengthy training. Geography also plays a part.
